Who we are
Lonatone is a creative studio based in Toronto, Ontario, offering film, photography and design, including event coverage under LONATONE LIVE. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
What we collect
- What you send us. When you fill in an enquiry form, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, company, email, phone number, event date, event type, venue, number of attendees, budget range, the services you're interested in and your message.
- How you found us. If you arrive from one of our ads, the link carries tags that identify the ad (for example, utm_source and utm_campaign). These are kept for the length of your visit and sent with your enquiry so we know which ad brought you here.
- Website activity. Through the Meta Pixel (see below), Meta receives information about the pages you visit on our site and whether you submitted an enquiry.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and plan the work you book with us.
- To understand which of our ads and pages lead to enquiries, so we can improve them.
- To show our ads to people who have visited our website.
Cookies and the Meta Pixel
Our site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). It uses cookies and similar technologies to measure how our ads perform and to show ads to people who have visited our site. Meta may combine this with other information it holds about you, under its own privacy policy.
You can control this through your Facebook ad preferences, by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser, or through the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada.
Other services on our site
- Google Workspace. Enquiries are delivered to us by email and stored in a Google Sheet, using Google Apps Script.
- YouTube. Our films play from YouTube. When the YouTube player loads, YouTube may set its own cookies.
- Google Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google, which receives your IP address when it delivers them.
These providers may store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States.
Sharing
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above, so they can run those services for us, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond, to work with you and to keep reasonable business records. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent to us using it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
